General Information for ACA Athletes
- Sports fees are due when your student makes the team.
- Medical packets including a current physical must be completed before the first practice. All forms may be picked up in the Athletic Office. Physicals can be obtained from your own doctor, or Redlands Chiropractic behind Starbucks on Alabama and Redlands Blvd.
- Uniforms MUST be returned as soon as your student-athlete has completed their season. Return uniforms to the AD Office.
- Christian League Games (Loma Linda, Ontario Christian, Western Christian and Aquinas) usually charge an entry fee. This includes football, basketball and volleyball. Student ID's are required for the discounted student price. The prices charged are decided by the Christian League, and all funds collected go directly back into the school athletic funds. This helps defray the cost of transportation, officials, trainers and equipment. The sports fees you pay do not cover all expenses.
- Usually there is an entry fee charged at tournaments. Tournament fees vary from tournament to tournament.
- All CIF games will charge an entrance fee. This includes parents, faculty, staff, and students. CIF ticket prices are set by CIF, and not by ACA. CIF does take a portion of the entry fee. CIF also does not allow noisemakers or body paint at the playoff games.
- Some schools do not have bleachers for outdoor sports, its always good to bring a chair.
- There are always additional costs when your student-athlete plays a sport. Many programs offer spirit wear packages, along with fundraising, meals and equipment.
- If you would like to become a driver, it is necessary for you to fill out the appropriate papers and give us copies of your insurance and license. Papers can be picked up in the Athletic Office.
- We honor Christ at our sporting events. We ask you keep the cheering positive.
